Hermeneutics and Education

Hermeneutics is the theory and methodology  of text interpretation, especially the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, and philosophical texts. It started out as a theory of text  interpretation but has been later broadened to questions of general interpretation. This book confronts the challenges that hermeneutics brings to ethics and education by thematizing the critical influence which ethics and contemporary educational theory and practice.
